Shelly is a late bloomer with a ridiculous passion for dance. She began formal dance training at age 25 in college and under the direction of Ann Marie Garvin, was blessed with a dance scholarship at the Dancers’ Synectics Group (now DSG studios). Shelly is an aerial pole dance performer, choreographer and competitor:  She is the founder of " Women and Their Poles" a pole dance/theater showcase, and as an active pole dance competitor has been a finalist in both the EMW 2010 Tripole Challenge and the USPDF 2010 West Coast Regional.  As a certified dance/fitness and pilates instructor Shelly has used her training and experiences to design and teach her own style of pole dancing to anyone wanting to learn.  She is thrilled to be teaching the art of pole dancing at DSG Studio's, where years of passion for dancing from so many dancers still lingers in the air inspiring her and her students.
