Internationally acclaimed Master Teacher/Choreographer Danica Sena has dedicated her life to the art of Flamenco and Spanish Dance.  Having resided in Spain for over a decade she is renowned for her musical and rhythmic capacity as well as an extraordinary capability of bringing out the deepest emotional expression in her students.  Each class experience is a blend of unique methodology and spontaneity inherent to this art form.  Due to her extensive and lifelong physical training with a deep foundation in classical and contemporary dance forms Ms. Sena focuses on dance education in the truest sense, encouraging her students to "own" rather than passively "copy".  She has inspired a plethora of students to continue their studies in Spain.  A few have actually returned to the U.S. as soloists/company performers.   Ms. Sena is a consummate performer herself and continues to grace stages, television and film throughout Europe, Asia, South America and the U.S.  She is the founder and artistic director of SF-based Andanza Spanish Arts, a company presenting original self-produced programs featuring all of the traditional and contemporary styles stemming from the Iberian Peninsula.  For general inquiries and/or more info on group classes/private/semi-private classes/workshops please email.
